Team Boca Alum and former Women's US National Team player India Trotter has joined the coaching staff at Team Boca, where she played for several years and led her Team Boca squad to three State Championships.
Trotter went on to play at Florida State University, where she was the first player in FSU history to earn a cap with the full US Women's National Team. Also earning All American status at FSU, Trotter helped lead the Seminoles to the ACC Championship and NCAA National Championship Final.
This past year she was drafted in the first round of the Women's Professional Soccer League by the St. Louis Athletica, but was forced to sit out the inaugural season due to prior contractual obligations to play in Germany. She is now training with Team Boca to help prepare for next season and will re-enter the WPS draft in March. "We are obviously very excited to add India to our staff where she will concentrate on specialized personal training of our players, as well as assist in our college prep program" said Bill D'Addio, Team Boca Director. "Anytime we can put our young players around such a great role model like India we're doing them an invaluable service" said D'Addio.
